Classify By Value

Classify by value uses a table of numeric ranges to classify the input values into the defined classes.

Input:

  1. Project and Borehole : These can be either an individual project or borehole or a wildcard (*) to process all projects or boreholes within a project.
  2. Classify Table and Field : This is the numeric data that it to be classified.
  3. Value From, Value To and Class Name : These are the classifications to be applied
  4. Destination Table - The interval table that the results will be written to. If the table doesn't exist, it may be created.

NB! The records in the destination table will be overwritten!

Example 1:

In this example downhole density measurements are classified into rock types using ranges of density criteria.

In this example copper grades are used to classify samples into grade categories.
