A well designed graphical log is essential for validating and portraying geological and sampling data. Visual Geobase has a number of different types of columns you can use to display data, and the are configurable to suit your needs.
The logs are templates, so once they are set up they can be used for all boreholes with the same data format.
Creating a New Log Template From Scratch
In the database explorer window, browse to Boreholes and under any borehole click Graphical Log-Create New

By default Visual Geobase adds a depth column as the first column in the log. This can be moved, amended or deleted later.

Adding Columns to the Graphical Log
Right click on the log to bring up the menu.
